Sad to think that I can sum up the whole month with one word....boring. There has been sooo much snow on the ground, then cold, then snow...it is enough to make you crazy. We got a new teacher for Anatomy and physiology and he is an OB Dr. He makes the class interesting which is a good thing cause there is a lot to learn. I had a hearing test done on the 8th of this month and they confirmed that I can't hear squat. Now I am waiting to see if they will give me free hearing aids. The algebra is kicking my butt and it pisses me off something fierce. I have to hav that to continue with the schooling and am not doing well in it at all.
A friend died today, Marsha Banks, she was only 56 and the last of the original family. Her Mom, Dad and both sisters passed away from cancer. Sad time.
Guess thats about all for now. My eyes are starting to burn so it is time to go to bed. God Bless

Cabin Fever???
Snowing here at Green Acres. Wayne and I took a walk down the lane to get the mail and it was way cold. My face was burning by the time I got back. It was pretty though, seeing all the animal tracks and the perfect quiet on the country. I don't seem to mind the cold and snow so much when I don't have to go out in it. I have to drive to Midway College next saturday and each one after that because they can't find a teacher who wants to come to this area to teach. I can't say that I blame them cause the roads here are horrid in the winter. The ppl drive nuts normally but they are really crazy when it snows. I sometimes wonder what is going through their minds driving like that. I have missed church for a couple of Sundays and I don't like that. I will probably miss this Sunday also cause we can't get out of the drive cause of the snow. Waynes truck is now 4 wheel drive. No auction for him tonight...guess that will save some money. I know it will when I stop going after school starts. The algebra starts on the 13th. That should be interesting. Logan feeling better, thank God for that. I was a little worried about him cause he is so little. Nikki sounded better but she still has the cough. I pray for her all the time. Sure hope she is REALLY doing OK out there. She's in God's hands so He will take care of her.

Winter
Still cold as all get out here. Snowing and around 15 degrees. School is cancelled today not sure why. I ran out on the porch last night for something , barefooted and was only out there a couple of seconds. Made me think of the ppl that were in the concentration camps being made to stand in the snow and cold with only rags. Evil is .....unbelieveable. I don't know how to vocalize it. Satan is such a liar that he can show a wonderful, appealing side to something and only when you have fallen for it, show the horrid side. Sometimes , you might never see the horrid side in this life but you sure can count on seeing it after you leave this world. I really love it here in Ky. It seems to be a peaceful, isolated community but close. I know that makes no sense but maybe what I am saying is that you don't have everyone in your business but you have ppl that you can count on anytime. Of course,I am still adjusting to the country and still miss all my thrift shops and the Jungle Jims grocery in Ohio. Guess I will get better at it as time goes by.

Tuesday @ the GA
Well, today was much the same as all of the other days here. I love sleeping until 9:30 in the morning but sometimes I wonder if I am staying bed that long cause there is nothing to do. We did get out for a bit today. Went to see some friends who are also in the boonies and have nothing to do...lol.
Tomorrow is the day that we deliver the newspapers. The newspaper here is a once a week paper that usually consists of 8 to 10 pages of "news". Nothing exciting....mostly drug busts, car accident (ppl here drive nuts) and obits.
Delivering the papers takes us from about noon to 4 or 5 pm. The weather is suppose to be a little "iffy" so we will see how that goes.
Wanted to start working out on the treadmill today but just too fat and lazy to start. Guess I will try and lose some weight b/4 doing any exercise.
So how was your day???? as exciting as mine...lol

Winter in the country
Well, we had the Christmas trip back to civilization and are back in the boonies once again. I have started another blog just to address my weight gain since I have been here. There is NOTHING to keep you occupied in the boonies in the winter. The big event of the week is the auction in Tyner, about 15 minutes away, that a lot of ppl go to each week. It is smokey, greasey smelling and most of the items they auction off are from china.
We did have about 8 inches of snow the other day and it was beautiful. When we went to Hamilton over Christmas the city seemed so close and noisey to me. It was nice getting back home again...must be getting use to it.
